
Lespezi Hermitage is the foundation of Draghici Cantacuziono sword bearer, painted by Parvu Mutu The Painter and it was the first religious place in the superior part of Prahova valley. The oldest village in the valley, Podul Neagului, was founded around it.
At present, near the Posada castle, there is the Hunting Museum, with a vaste collection of tropheys and hunting weapons.
St.Nicholas church, built in 1905, was founded by Bibescu familiy, in Byzantine style, with three towers and has in the yard the monument of the Comarnic heroes of the First World War.
The Posada castle belonged to Gheorghe Bibescu ruler, and was built between 1842 and 1848. At Posada also lived and created for a while the painter Nicolar Grigorescu, who had the places and the people’s work as inspiration.
